H. Fern Lawless Cox, Albany, Ga.

Services for H. Fern Lawless Cox, 82, Albany, Ga., who died Nov. 1 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lorimor First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.

Mrs. Cox was the former postmaster at the Macksburg Post Office. She was born in Macksburg on March 22, 1906, the daughter of George and Grace Simmons Pinckney. She had lived in Macksburg all her life except for the past three years and was a member of the Lorimor First Baptist Church.

She was married to Leonard Lawless, who died in 1952. She was married to Oscar Cox, who died in 1985.

Survivors include sons, John of Albany and Donald of Washington, Iowa; a daughter, Linda Murman of Palmer; a brother, Ralph Pinckney of Iowa Falls; a sister, Myrtle VanderLinden of Creston; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, two brothers and a sister.
