Mrs. Samuel Cook

Amanda E. Piper, daughter of John and Elizabeth Piper, was born in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, Jan. 16, 1848 and passed away at her late home in Creston, April 21, 1920. In 1857, she with her parents moved to Iowa.

She was united in marriage to J. D. Childers, Nov. 27, 1867. In February, 1889, she was united in marriage to Samuel Cook. She leaves to mourn her loss, four sons and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Creston, and interment was made in Moon cemetery.
