CHARLES F. WOOD Died Last Week

Charles F. Wood, a resident of Madison county since 1916, died suddenly last Thursday while at work filling a silo. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Wood was born at Bourbon, Ind., on Sept. 28, 1882, the son of Thomas and Sarah Ann Wood. He was married to Mable Beckhart on March 11, 1908. They came to Madison county in 1916 and settled on a farm three miles southeast of Winterset. Two years ago they sold this farm and moved to a place just west of Winterset on highway No. 92.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Otto Hendricks of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Pellett of Atlantic.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemeetery.
