WILLIAM GOODMAN, Winterset

William Henry “Bun” Goodman, 90, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the Winterset Health Care System.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 5, 2006, at the Lorimor Baptist Church in Lorimor. Burial was at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Bun was born April 29, 1916, in Dows, Iowa, the son of William Thomas and Amanda (Pehrson) Goodman. His marriage to Wilma Maxine Foreman took place on March 19, 1938 in St. Charles. Bun was a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Lorimor Baptist Church.

Bun is survived by his wife, Wilma Goodman of Winterset, three children, Dottie Jo (Stanley) Mount of Lorimor; Jimmie (Sue) Goodman of Des Moines; Nancy Adams (Jerry DePorter) of Port Byron, Ill.; three sisters, Darlene (Blaine) Tucker of Branson, Mo.; Clara (Jack) Goodsell of Casa Grande, Ariz.; Virginia Goettsch of Casa Grande, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lester; and 2 sisters, Alice and Mary.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund which has been established in his name.
