Services for Jennie S. Conard, 88, Winterset, who died March 26 at the Care Center North where she resided, were held Saturday, March 29 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Johnston officiating. Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.

Born at Barney on Dec. 4, 1897, she was the daughter of Derwin and Amy Hulbert. On Dec. 10, 1939, she was married to Elmer Conard. She had lived in St. Charles for about 20 years.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Gladys Dennis of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
