Elroy Conard Services Held

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 16, at Collins Funeral Home for Elroy Curtis Conard, 84, who died July 13, 1977, at the Adair County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Jasper and Emma Carter Conard.

Mr. Conard was born November 9, 1892 in Madison County and was a resident here until 1972. He was married to Irene Ruth Paulson on October 1, 1913, in West Des Moines.

A resident of Greenfield the past five years, Mr. Conard was a retired farmer and was active in the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Don (Ruth) Sullivan of Westminster, Colorado; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and two sisters, Ivy Shannon of Bevington and Addie Williams of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Officiating at the services was Rev. Richard T. Kohl. Burial was made at the St. Charles Cemetery.
