Ruby C. Nikolaison, 94, of Earlham died at Community Care Center in Winterset on Feb. 4, 1996. Services were held Feb. 8 at Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham with burial at Graceland Cemetery in Blencoe.

Mrs. Nikolaison, daughter of Andrew M. and Fannie Fisher Hittle, was born in Kennebec Township, Monona County on May 27, 1901. Ruby and Carl A. Nikolaison were united in marriage on April 6, 1922. They farmed all their married life at Blencoe. She was a devoted church worker and enjoyed fishing, card playing and traveling. She moved to Earlham in 1977.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Clarence and Claude.

Surviving are her children; Joyce Price of Earlham and Dorothy and Eugene Anderson of Sun City West, Ariz; a sister Pearl Tyson of Onawa; a brother Alfred Hittle of Salem, Ore.;and six grandchildren.
