1996Hailien Janean Jurgensen, 3, of Winterset, died of carbon monoxide poisoning July 30, 1996, at her home. Funeral services were held Aug. 3, 1996 at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. Pastor Douglas J. Helton officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
She was born in Des Moines Nov. 4, 1992 to Wayne Jurgensen and Lorrie Shepherd.
Surviving relatives include her father; one sister, Marie Jurgensen of Winterset; four grandparents, Bill and Margaret Jurgensen of Winterset, Loran and Joyce Shephard of Tabor; and one great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Michael of St. Maries, Idaho.
