1996Jordan Wayne Jurgensen, 20 months, of Winterset, died July 30, 1996 of carbon monoxide poisoning. Funeral services were held Aug. 3, 1996 at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. Pastor Douglas J. Helton officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
He was born in Des Moines Nov. 22, 1994 to Wayne Lee Jurgensen and Lorrie Janean Shepherd.
Surviving relatives include his father; one sister, Marie Jurgensen of Winterset; four grandparents, Bill and Margaret Jurgensen of Winterset, Loran and Joyce Shepherd of Tabor; and one great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Michael of St. Maries, Idaho.
