Lorrie Shepherd, 27, of Winterset, died of carbon monoxide poisoning July 30, 1996 at her home near Winterset. Graveside services were held Aug. 5, 1996 at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Nebr. with the Rev. David Burman officiating.

She was born Dec. 18, 1968 in Nebraska City, Nebr. to Loran Sr. and Joyce (Sharp) Shepherd. On April 1, 1991, she was married to Wayne Jurgensen in Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by one son; one daughter; three grandparents; and three uncles.

Surviving relatives include her parents; her grandmother, Mary Ellen Michael of St. Maries, Idaho; one sister, Candy Pace of Athol, Idaho; and two brothers, Wayne Shepherd and Jim Shepherd, both of Tabor.
