MILDRED BRANDT Services Set

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. this Thursday, August 1, for Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Brandt of Winterset. The services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset, with the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating.

Mrs. Brandt, the former Mildred Black, who was 58, died at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines Tuesday morning, July 30, 1974.

Mildred Brandt Services Held

Funeral services were held last Thursday for Mildred L. Brandt of Winterset, who died at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines on Tuesday, July 30. She was 58 years of age.

Mildred Leah Brandt was born in St. Charles on November 18, 1915, the daughter of Roy and Edna Hart Black. She was married to Raymond H. Brandt in Winterset on September 9, 1939.

Mrs. Brandt was a lifetime resident of Madison County and had lived in Winterset since 1943. She was employed as a clerk by Hawkeye Security in Des Moines.

Survivors include her husband Raymond, of Winterset and one son, Roy Marvin of Winterset. She is also survived by three grandsons; by a brother, Roy Kenneth Black of Las Vegas, Nevada; and by her step-mother, Mrs. Laura Black of Winterset.

She was predeceased in death by her parents and by a daughter, Betty Jean Braman, who died in 1966.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 1 at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset, with the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating.

Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
