EFFIE MAE WOODLEY, Lorimor

Funeral services for Effie Mae Woodley of Lorimor were held today at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Lorimor.

Mrs. Woodley, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1981, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Winterset Care Center North in Wintersest.

Born Dec. 15, 1894 in Avery, Mo., she was the daughter of Merritt and Martha Miller McCullough. On Jan. 28, 1915 she married M. B. Woodley in Cherokee, Iowa.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, one son and three brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fern Peterson of Lorimor and Mrs. Velma Estell of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sons, Ronald Woodley of Lorimor and Merritt Woodley of Winterset; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A homemaker, Mrs. Woodley was a member of the Lorimor United Methodist Church.

Burial was at Lorimor Cemetery with Rev. John Ling officiating.
