Frances Jane Coffman, 70, of Adel, died of cancer May 19, 1996 at her home. Funeral services are today, Wednesday, May 22, at 2 p.m. at the Earlham United Methodist Church. Pastor Harold Koughn will officiate the services and burial will be at the Earlham Cemetery.
She was born in Stuart on Oct. 29, 1925 to Lafe Emery and Hulda Emma (Cass) Morrison. She married William Orville Coffman on March 19, 1959 in Earlham. She was a homemaker and had lived most of her lifetime around Madison county and in Earlham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and three grandchildren.
Surviving relatives include four sons, Phillip Morrison of Des Moines, Terry Morrison and wife Connie of Collins, Eugene Coffman and wife Debbie of Bagley, and Raymond Coffman and wife Michelle of Stuart; two daughters, Sandra Ball and husband Robert of Winterset, and Rebecca Coffman and fiance Curt Tucker of Guthrie Center; two stepsons, Howard Coffman of Waukee and Richard Coffman of Texas; two sisters, JoAnn Morris and Betty Lee Clayton, both of Adel; one brother, Robert Morrison of Earlham; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memmorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.
