Wanda M. "Mickey' Wood, 63, of Des Moines, died of renal failure Oct. 5, 1995 at the Mercy Hosital Medical Center in Des Moines. Graveside services were Oct. 9 at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens.

She was a member of the South Side Nazarene Church, the NABA Benefit Association, and the Southgate Order of the Eastern Star. She had been the previous owner of Mickey's Tap in Truro (from 1973 - 1982).

Surviving relatives include her husband, William Wood of Des Moines; one daughter, Peggy Horn of Des Moines; one son, Ronald P. Horn of Camden, SC.; one step-son, Rick Wood of Eldora; one step-daughter, Kim Wood of Wellsburg; adopted daughter, Kim Foutch of Martensdale; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one god-daughter.
