Services for Mabel Nellie Cline, 88, a resident of Winterset for 30 years who died Oct. 6 at the Care Center North, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct 8 at the Grace Baptist Church. Burial was at the Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Born Feb. 22, 1894 in Adair, she was the daughter of Newton and Martha Rhodes Sutphin. She married George E. Cline April 18, 1916 at Des Moines.
Survivors are a son, Russel of Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Albert, Can., a daughter, Carol Ann Conard of rural Winterset, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, daughters, Eloise Gould and Alice Bernice Cline; six brothers and sisters and her parents.
