Lillian Ethel Dhabalt, 77, formerly of Earlham, died of pneumonia at the Madison County Hospital in Winterset on April 1, 1995. Services were held April 5 at the United Methodist Church in Earlham. Burial was in Earlham Cemetery.

Mrs. Dhabalt was born to Sidney and Constance Lundquist Acott on Sept. 25, 1917, in Des Moines. She attended the West High School in Des Moines and married Fred Dhabalt on Sept. 3, 1935, in Indianola. They had six children. Mrs. Dhabalt worked part time in Des Moines at Barnes Cleaners.

She is survived by her husband, her sons Roger, Fred Jr., and Terry and her daughters, Coleen Palmer and Bev Love. She is also survived by a sister Doreen Meier, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
