Velda F. Clatterbaugh Dies

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 30, at 10:30 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Velda F. Clatterbaugh, 62, who died Thursday, Sept. 28, 1978, at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. She was born February 10, 1916 in Peru, Iowa.

Mrs. Clatterbaugh was the daughter of John Garrett and Laura Woods Farr. She was a housewife, affiliated with the Methodist Church. She recently returned to this county from Omaha, Neb.

Survivors include a brother, Gene W. Farr of Long Island, New York and three sisters, Loraine Joy of Perry; Gertrude Simmons and Frieda Hamand, both of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her father.

Officiating at Saturday's funeral was Rev. Byron Ayers of Winterset. Burial was made at the Peru Cemetery.
