Sarah Stearns, Earlham

Sarah Wennerstrum Stearns, 34, died April 15, 1993, at Des Moines General Hospital of septic shock. A memorial service was held April 17 at Central Presbyterian Church in Des Moines. Burial will be at 2 p.m., April 24 in Woodburn Cemetery.

Mrs. Stearns was born in Des Moines and moved to Earlham 12 years ago. She was a broker's assistant at Farmers Commodity Corp. of West Des Moines and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Dwight; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann at home; and her mother, Barbara Wennerstrum, and a brother, Brook Wennerstrum, both of Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Earlham Public Library.
