1977Nora M. Clark Died Wednesday
Nora Myrtle Clark, a native of Madison County, died Wednesday, March 9, 1977, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was 92 years of age, the daughter of Matt and Jennie Adams Walters.
Mrs. Clark was born May 15, 1884, in Madison County, and married to Clarence Clark in 1901 in Winterset. He preceded her in death in February 1920.
A lifetime resident here, Mrs. Clark was a homemaker, affiliated with the Winterset Christian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Agnes Brooker and Lucille Alexander of Winterset and Maxine Evans of Moline, Illinois; a brother, Charles Walters of Des Moines; a sister, Edna Salley of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter, ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Nora Myrtle Clark were conducted Saturday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home, Kenneth Helmers of Villa West officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
