Lois Eva Clark of 708 N. Fourth Ave., Winterset, died Saturday, June 28, at her home at the age of 89. Mrs. Clark had lived in Madison County most of her life.
Born on April 16, 1891, in Madison County, she was the daughter of Seth and Lucy Ferris Brittain. She was united in marriage to Charles Clark on Feb. 24, 1909, in Winterset, and he survives her.
Also surviving are three children, Dale Clark of Lakeview, Alberta Cox of Winterset and Elsie Winger of Spirit Lake; a nephew raised in her home, Albert DeWitt of Winterset; a sister, Mary Allen of Winterset; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Parker officiating. Burial was at North McDonald Cemetery.
