LLOYD CLARK, 63, DIES AT WATERLOO

Lloyd E. Clark, member of the pioneer Madison county Clark family, died Monday, Oct. 25, at a nursing home in Waterloo, following a stroke. He was 63 years of age.

Mr. Clark was born in Winterset Jan. 20, 1902, a son of Audley and Ada Clark. He was married here in 1922 to Dorothy Taylor. They were parents of two daughters. Her death occurred in 1926.

He was married in 1930 to Marie Anderson of Iowa Falls, who survives him.

Mr. Clark owned and operated the Iowa Falls Monument company in Iowa Falls for many years before moving to Waterloo. After moving to Waterloo, he was employed by the A.A.A. Motor club of Iowa, until failing health caused his retirement two years ago.

In addition to his wife, he leaves the two daughters, Constance of Portland, Oregon and Coleen of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and a sister, Bernice.

Funeral services will be held from the Linn Funeral Home in Iowa Falls Friday morning at 10:30 with graveside services at the Winterset cemetery at 3 p.m.
