M. Kathryn Clark, 87, died Thurs., Oct 17 at her home at Scottish Rite Park. Services were October 21 at Dunn's Funeral Home.
She was born in East Peru March 2, 1904 to Ulrich and Lillie (Fenimore) Waechter and attended school in East Peru and Winterset. She married C. Orval Clark August 31, 1922 in Adel, and he managed the United Food Market, Winterset, until 1927. She was a homemaker, member of First United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Blank Hospital Guild, P.E.O. and the Des Moines Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Clark West of Des Moines; a sister-in-law and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Comp; and two grandchildren.
Burial was in Winterset Cemetery.
