Wednesday, May 20, 1970HUGH PEAK Of Winterset Dies
Hugh I. Peak of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, May 13, 1970, at Memorial hospital here. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Peak was born in Scott township April 22, 1900, a son of Elza and Sarah A. McMikal (McMichael) Peak. His life was spent in farming and in working as a mechanic.
He attended the United Brethren church.
Mr. Peak never married, and nearest surviving relatives are a sister, Ruth Peak of Winterset, and a half-sister, Mrs. Lula James of California. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Williams. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
