Services for Helen Irene Clark, 66, rural Winterset, who died Dec. 18 at the Des Moines Methodist Medical Center, were held Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 21, at the Collins Funeral Home with lay minister Charlie Morrow officiating. Burial was at the McDonald Chase Cemetery.
Born in Madison County Sept. 11, 1917, she was the daughter of Glenn and Catharine Chamberlain Wray. She was a lifetime resident of the county and was a member of the Worthington Methodist Church.
On Dec. 14, 1935, she married Cecil Clark at Eldon, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband; sons, James of Riverview, Fla., Steven and Martin, both of Route 4, Winterset; a daughter, Nancy Clarke of Norwalk; half-sisters, Patricia Hedrick of San Diego and Edith Cerar of Johnston; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.
