Funeral services for Florence Elnora Clark were held Friday, Oct. 23 at Collins Funeral Home, Rev. Kenneth Helmers officiating. Mrs. Clark died Oct. 20 at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset at the age of 97.

Born Jan. 31, 1884 in Cass County, she was the daughter of Arthur and Alice White Joy.

She graduated from Drake University and was co-owner of Gill Meat Market in Winterset with her first husband, Guy Gill, who died in 1934. A second husband, Orey Clark, is also deceased.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two brothers, Irvin and Howard Joy; and a sister, Marguerite Fairholm.

Survivors include three daughters, Doris Vaskowitz and Dorothy Butt of Livonia, Mich., and Mrs. Gerald Cline of Guthrie Center; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
