Betty Clark, Winterset

Betty Ann Clark, 62, of Winterset, died of complications from heart surgery on Sept. 20, 1996, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were Sept. 23 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Bob Epperson officiated the services and burial was at McGinnis Cemetery in Madison County.

He was born April 28, 1934 in Winterset to Roy and Alice May (Weber) Cooper. She was a retired forklift driver for Emco Industries in Des Moines. She had lived in Winterset most of her lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; one daughter; one sister, and two brothers.

Surviving relatives include five daughters, Norma Jean Trester and husband Jeff of Winterset, Patricia Diane McNew and husband Lonnie of Winterset, Sandra Lee Lane and husband Donald of Coppell, Twxas, and Shelli Marie Auten and husband Harold of Villisca; one brother, Donald Cooper of Winterset; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
