Frank F. Childers, a native of the St. Charles community in Madison county died Thursday, Feb. 16, in Des Moines, where he had lived most of his life. He was 81 years of age.
Mr. Childers had retired in 1950, after a long career as a flour salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Cook and Mrs. Virginia Holmes, both of Des Moines; and three half brothers, Frank and Eugene Husted of Springfield, Mo., and Virgie Husted of Kirksville, Mo.
Funeral services were held Saturday from Hamilton's Funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Peru cemetery.
