FRANCES L. WOODS, St. Charles

Funeral services for Frances L. Woods, 77, were held Wed., Aug. 18 at Southtown Funeral Home, Des Moines. She died August 24, 1991, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Born September 9, 1913 in Mason County, Ill., she was the daughter of Grover C. and Edna A. (Lowe) Osborn. She lived in Des Moines 60 years before moving to St. Charles a year ago. She was a homamaker and a member of Park Avenue Christian Church, Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alva Woods.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen Hutton of St. Charles; three sons, Ralph and Ernest, both of Des Moines, and Harold of Prole; four sisters, Mildred Shick of Tucson, Ariz.; Vina Mitchell of Lubbock, Texas, Fonda Johnson of Seymour and Betty DeLong of Osceola; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
