CHARLES WOODS Services Held

Charles Gilbert Woods, son of Lloyd and Grace Gilbert Woods, was born October 21, 1916, in Clarke County and died June 10, 1977, at the age of 60. He was married December 13, 1939, to Beatrice McConnell at Bethany, Missouri. He spent his life in Clarke and Union counties. In addition to his wife, a daughter, Donna Rowland of Lorimor, two sons, Jerry of Peru and Dick of Des Moines, seven grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Grace Woods of Lorimor, two brothers, Wayne of Osceola and Vaughn of Arkansas, and a sister, Mrs. Twyla McConnell of Osceola, survive him. His father and two half brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jun. 13, at the Watts-Lindsay Funeral home at 1:30 with Rev. Ben Turner officiating. Burial was in the Lorimor Cemetery.
