Patricia Calaway, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mrs. Patricia Calaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Read of Winterset, died at Colorado Springs, Colo., Aug. 28, of a heart attack. she had been in poor health for several years.

Services were held Sept. 1 in the Chapel of Swan Law with the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the First Christian Church in Colorado Springs officiating, with burial in Memorial Gardens.

She was born Oct. 8, 1933, the daughter of Nelson and Addie Read, and attended the Winterset Schools. She married Russell Calaway, Jan. 14, 1950. She is survived by her husband Russell, three sons, one daughter, five grandchildren, her parents and five brothers.

Members of the family attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Read of Winterset, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Read of Maryville, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Read of St. Charles, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Read of Runnells, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Read of Tipton.
