Services for Hazel B. Wright, 89, Winterset, who died on Feb. 18, 1987 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at the Earlham Cemetery.
Born in Warren County on March 8, 1897, she was the daughter of Ellsworth and Mary Raitt Palmer. On July 4, 1916, she was married to Clarence Wright of DeSoto.
She spent most of her lifetime in Madison County, coming here with her family at the age of 3. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include a son, Russell of rural Winterset; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers.
