FRED F. WRIGHT Died Saturday

Fred F. Wright, a life-long resident of the Winterset community, died Saturday, May 28, 1960, at Memorial hospital here. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Wright was born at Winterset, Feb. 7, 1890, a son of Giles and Margaret Moore Wright. His active life was spent in farming. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the American Legion. His church affiliation was Baptist.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Mapes; and four step-sons, Ralph, Clarence and Dale Mapes of Winterset, and Elmer Mapes of Council Bluffs. He also leaves six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Wesley Lowry of Lovilia. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery, with military honors.
