HELEN WRIGHT, Winterset

Helen C. Wright, 93, of Winterset, died Dec. 10, 1994 at the Community Care of Winterset. Funeral Services were Dec. 12 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Harold Koughn officiated with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County on Dec. 21, 1900 to William John and Sarah Elizabeth (Ford) Smith. She married Wayne M. Wright on Dec. 5, 1921 in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and a member of the Granger United Methodist Church. She was also a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son; two brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving relatives include one sister, Laura Black of Winterset; and several nieces and nephews.
