YOUNG WINTERSET MOTHER DIED TUESDAY

Mrs. James Bryan, Age 18, Passes at Hospital in Des Moines

Mrs. James Bryan of Winterset, 18-year-old mother of a three-week old baby, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines Tuesday.

Mrs. Bryan had lived all her life in Madison county. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins, and was born in this county November 13, 1927.

She was married to James E. Bryan on April 11, 1944. Their son James Jr. was born on July 30 of this year.

In addition to her husband and baby, Mrs. Bryan leaves her parents; a sister, Patricia Ann Jenkins; and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Holton, all of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday, with brief rites at 1:30 p.m. from the Ramsey-Richards Funeral home, and full services at 2:30 p.m. from the Macksburg Methodist church. The Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
