Mary Margaret Brownlee of St.Charles died Nov. 25 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 50.
Funeral services were held Nov. 28 at United Methodist Church in St. Charles, Rev. Chet Waterman officiating. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.
Born June 9, 1931 in Hepburn, Ia., she was the daughter of Anselm and Maude Winter Warner.
On Oct. 11, 1953 she married Bruce H. Brownlee in Bethesda, Ia. Seven children were born to the marriage.
Mrs. Brownlee attended St. Charles Methodist Church and was active in United Methodist Women, Farm Bureau and as a 4-H leader.
Preceding her in death was her mother. Survivors include her husband, Bruce; four daughters, Sue Brownlee of Reno, Nevada, Karn Gast of Boulder, Colo., Janis and Sara Brownlee of St. Charles; three sons, Van, Don, and Mark Brownlee of St. Charles; father, Anselm Warner of Braddyville, Ia.; two sisters, Maxine Sunderman of Coin, Ia., and Roseanna Sunderman of Braddyville; and a brother, Charles Warner of Clarinda.
