Mrs. Blanche Brooker of Winterset died this Wednesday morning, Oct. 27, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 86 years of age.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time. Collins Funeral home is in charge.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset for Mrs. Blanche Brooker, whose death had occurred Oct. 27 at Memorial hospital here.
The Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, conducted the services. Burial was made in the Jefferson cemetery.
Mrs. Brooker was 85 years of age at her death. She was the daughter of Alexander and Mary Howell Addy, and was born July 6, 1880, at Cambridge, O. Most of her life was spent in Madison county. She was a member of the United Brethren church in this county.
She was married June 1, 1896, to Nelson Brooker, who preceded here in death. Two sons, Roy and Bruce Brooker and a daughter, Mrs. Amanda Kirby, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are five sons, Judson and Norwood Brooker of Winterset, Wilbur Brooker of Boone, Herbert Brooker of Knoxville and Ralph Brooker of Des Moines; four daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Reimann of Des Moines, Mrs. Rose Van Buren of Van Meter, Mrs. Darlene Fundlinger of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Madeline Bennett of Winterset; a Brother, Orvie Addy of Winterset; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Thompson of Van Meter, Mrs. Leo Walters of Rapid City, S. D., and Mrs. Greta Dorrell of Harrisburg, Miss.; in addition to 27 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
