Larry Bristow, Des Moines

Services for Larry W. Bristow, 50, Des Moines, who died of a heart attack at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on Thurs., June 28, were held Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial was at the Monroe Cemetery.

Mr. Bristow was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines for 30 years. He owned the Roosevelt Barber Shop. He was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers, College Avenue Christian Church and the State Barbers Association of Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, E. Carolyn; a daughter, Wende Bristow and a son, Matthew, all of Des Moines; his mother, Cora Bristow of Winterset; and a brother Donald of Iowa City.
