Life-Time Resident Died Last Wednesday at Age of 80 Years.
Mrs. Jessie E. Brady of Winterset, life-time resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Brady was the former Jessie Edith Wilson, daughter of Clark and Ida Hall Wilson. She was born March 13, 1883, in this county. Her life was spent as a homemaker, although she served as a school teacher for some time.She was married to Orsen Brady on March 23, 1904. His death occurred in 1952.
She was a long-time member of Oak Grove E.U.B. Church.
Mrs. Brady is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Milo Vanderlinden of Marion; a son, Harold Brady of Des Moines; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Rollie Wilson of Long Beach, Calif., Roy Wilson of Belle Fourche, S.Dak., and Eldon Wilson of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Lee Kingery of Kimble, S.Dak., and Mrs. Lorena Tidrick of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
