William D. Brady, Winterset

William D. Brady, 59, of Winterset died of heart failure Dec. 20, 1998 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 23) at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Scott Township, Madison County.

William Brady was born Dec. 21, 1938, in Des Moines to William M. and Katherine (Sides) Brady. His marriage to Elena Godwin took place April 1, 1989 in Clive. He owned and operated Bill Brady and Sons Construction and was involved in the construction business for over 20 years. William also was a member of Operating Engineer Local 234, Association of General Contractors (AGC) and Motor Iowa, an antique motor club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Robin Sue Brady of Pleasant Hill; one son, William Michael Brady (wife Cindy) of Des Moines; two stepdaughters, Beth Ann McIntyre of Hartford; Terri Joe McIntyre of Elgin, SC; one aunt, Julia Biddle (husband DeLos) of Urbandale; one sister-in-law, Barbara Brady of Clive; two grandchildren; and one niece.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the University of Nebraska Liver Transplant Center.
