MRS. BEN BOYD DIES AT AGE OF 86 YEARS

Mrs. Ben Boyd, a former resident of Winterset, died Jan. 4 at her home in Los Angeles, according to word received here this week. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Boyd was the former Dedie Stitt of this community. She was married here to Ben Boyd in 1898 whose death occurred in 1957. They had moved from Winterset to Los Angeles in 1910.

She leaves a son Paul Boyd of Los Angeles, a granddaughter and a great grandson.

Funeral services and burial were held in Los Angeles Jan. 7.
