Bobbitt Rites Held In Ohio

William Robert Bobbitt, Jr. a former resident of Winterset, died last week at Van Wert, Ohio. He was 54 years of age.

Mr. Bobbitt graduated from Winterset High School with the class of 1941. His father, Wm. R. Bobbitt, Sr., was manager of Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. here at that time.

He later graduated from Drake University and served with the army during World War II in the South Pacific. He was vice president and controller of the Haviland Clay Tile Works in Ohio at the time of his death.

Survivors include his widow, the former Mary E. Henderson; his mother of Van Wert, Ohio; three sons; a brother and a sister.
