Pansie Ruth Blossom, Merritt Island, Fla.

Graveside services for Pansie Ruth Blossom, 86, will be held Thurs., March 26 at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Blossom died of lung cancer March 20 at the Presbyterian Nursing Center in Lakeland, Fla.

A Madison County resident from her birth until 1959, she was born August 4, 1905 to William Burd and Anna Naomi (James) Landis. She married William Hattel Ruth and was a homemaker. Her husband operated Ruth Drug Store until 1954.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Ruth and three brothers.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph; a son, William of North Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, June Crott of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
