Page 5, Column 5Mrs. Noah Blosser Dies at 80 Years
Mrs. Noah Blosser of Winterset, a widely known Madison county resident during most of her life, died Monday, January 22 at Memorial Hospital here. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Blosser was a native of Nebraska where she was born at Broken Bow on September 10, 1892. She was the former Mary Elizabeth Algoe, daughter of Robert A. and Wilhelmina Wolf Algoe.
She was married December 15, 1946 at Truro to Noah Blosser who survives her.
Mrs. Blosser was employed for many years as a telephone operator and was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a brother, Clarence Algoe, of Des Moines. Two brothers, David and John Algoe and a sister, Mrs. Ida Criss, preceded her in death.Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Collins Funeral home in Winterset conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist Church here. Burial was to be made in the Winterset Cemetery.
