EFFIE BLOSSER DIED WEDNESDAY

Had Been Patient at Memorial Hospital For Almost Three Years

Effie E. Blosser of Winterset died last Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Madison county Memorial hospital, where she had been a patient for almost three years.

Miss Blosser was born near Patterson on Dec. 24, 1876, and spent most of her life in that community. She was a daughter of Christian and Martha Gamble Blosser.

She had been a resident of Winterset since 1947. Her church membership was with the United Presbyterian church in St. Charles.

Miss Blosser was the last surviving member of her immediate family, her parents and two brothers having preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
