Charles Bishop, 75, of Stroudsburg, Pa., died of a heart attack in Gulf Shores, Alabama. A memorial service will be held Feb. 2, 1995 at the Presbyterian Church in Stroudsburg, Pa.

He was born in St. Charles on Oct. 12, 1920 to Ernest and Valda (Snider) Bishop. He married Jeanette Neal on Oct. 18, 1942. He served as president of Bright Star Industries and was Chief Executive Officer for the past 26 years. He attended Gulf Shores Presbyterian Church and was an active member in the Stroudsburg, Pa. congregation.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Barry Bishop of Lewisburg, Pa.; one daughter Daphne Ball and husband Kevin of Wolcott, Conn.; one brother, Wayne Bishop of Overland Park, Kan.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
