Beatrice C. Bishop, 95, died of a heart ailment Oct. 5, 1995, at Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston. Funeral services were Oct. 9 at the St. Charles Parish Church with the Rev. Ed Poston officiating. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 7, 1900, to Emma (Stiffler) and George Neal in St. Charles. She married Walter W. Bishop on April 23, 1924 in Des Moines. She retired in 1965 from State of Iowa Clerical Work. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at St. Charles and Grace Methodist Church in Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother; and five sisters.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.
