Finis Oneal Keeton, 88, of St. Charles died March 29, 2006, at the Medical Center of Mc-Kinney in McKinney, Texas.

Services were held Friday, March 31, in Bonham, Texas.

Finis Keeton was born Aug. 15, 1917, in Bonham, Texas, and was a 1935 graduate of Bonham High School. He continued his education at Texas Tech studying civil engineering. He married Frances Denton, who preceded him in death. During World War II, Finis served as a captain in the engineering division of the United States Army. He was a farmer and operator of a grain elevator for many years, retiring in 1973. On July 19, 1987, he married Edna G. Shreves.

He is survived by his wife, Edna, of St. Charles; one son, John Keeton of Bonham, Texas; one daughter, Sally Dodd of Crane, Texas; one stepson, Larry Shreves of St. Charles; one stepdaughter, Jackie McKinney of St. Charles; and two grandchildren, 8 stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
