Ruby Binder, Winterset

Ruby Binder, 82, of Winterset, died of a heart ailment on May 21, 1995 at her home. Funeral services are today, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Bobby Dickerson will officiate the services and burial will be at the Blair Chapel Cemetery in Madison County.

She was born in Madison County on June 20, 1912 to Neal James and Mary J. (Huglin) Luke. She married Frank Binder on January 25, 1953 in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Madison County. She had also helped on the farm a great deal. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winterset and a member of the Farm Bureau.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one sister.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Jane Henry and husband Russell of Winterset; two brothers, Neal James Luke of Lowell, Ors., and Rex Luke of Winterset; one sister, Lorraine (Mickie) Wickett of New Virginia; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren
