DEE BINDER DIES HERE ON SUNDAY

Life-Long Farmer Had Lived at Truro for 25 Years

Dee Binder, a farmer, in the Truro community for 25 years, died Sunday, March 31, at a nursing home in Winterset, where he had been a patient the past year. He was 81 years of age.

Mr. Binder was born Dec. 22, 1875, near Blythesdale, Mo., a son of Charles and Mary Binder. His life was spent in farming.

He was married Jan. 26, 1904, to Ada Warner, who preceded him in death. Surviving are five children, Charles Binder of Osceola, Mrs. Clara Windmiller of Erie, Pa., Frank Binder of Winterset, Ralph Binder of St. Charles, and Mrs. Lucille Fitzgerald of Des Moines; a brother, Sol Binder of Cainsville, Mo.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, with burial in the St. Charles cemetery.
