JACOB A. (JAKE) ZWANK, Sully

Funeral services for Jacob A. (Jake) Zwank, 66, will be held Fri., March 27 at Sully Community Church. Visitation will be held Thursday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home, Newton. Mr. Zwank died of cancer March 24, 1992, at Pella Community Hospital, Pella.

He was born November 12, 1925 in rural Galesburg to Bennie and Jennie (Vos) Zwank and married Dorothy Van Kampen January 5, 1949 in Killduff. He was a retired mechanic at Sully Co-op Oil Station, served in the U. S. Army from 1945 to 1949 and was a member of Sully Community Church. He was a former Peru resident.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Survivors include his wife of Sully; a daughter Kristine Zimmerman of Reasnor; his step-mother, Artie Zwank of Sully; a sister Nellie Fay DeCook of New Sharon; and two grandchildren.

Burial was at Sully Cemetery.
